Jomar Corp., Pleasantville, N.J., is introducing what's said to be the industry's largest injection-blow machine. The three-station M-175 model has a 175-ton preform clamp and max. trigger-bar length of 49.25 in. It molds 20 cavities of a typical roll-on deodorant bottle. Nonetheless, the new machine is reportedly compact and has a shut height of 10 to 14 in. It uses a vertical injection unit and has fewer parts, resulting in less maintenance. |
